We camped here for the week. It rained the first two days but then cleared up and was windy. The camp ground is between the highway and the beach, we were lucky and were right on the beach. There are hot showers and toilets. There is no dumping station but for 3.00 there is one in Waldport.

My husband and I stayed at Beachside over the Forth of July weekend in 2016. I'll give you the big con first, then the pros. The big con is that this camp site is right next to US Highway 101, so the noise of the tricks, campers, and cars is constant. So if you choose a sit, you might consider... More

Three days on the beach. A little rain, a bit of sun, campfire, sunsets are heavenly. The campground is clean, guests are friendly, and the camp hosts are grand. There is some highway noise in the campsites closer to the roadway, but you cannot beat the location to so many fun activities.

What an amazing campground, right on the beach. Washrooms and hot water showers which are lovely when tenting!! U can buy wood for campfires. Close to Newport and Yachats which offer cute funky stores and lovely restaurants.

Another nice Oregon State Park. It's got great access to the beach. Sites can be tricky for RVs - uneven sites, over hanging tree, tight fits. It's a great walking beach.

I know some of the reviews have been negative about this place (and yes some of the tent site are right next to the hwy) but if you can get a trailer spot beachfront it is such a great little campground!!! You have to be quick with your clicking finger at exactly 9 months out from when you want to... More

We reserved a tent site at this campground. Pros: you're not next to noisy RVs. Cons: you're right next to the 101. Goodbye peaceful camping bedibye. Urgh. It is, however, a few hundred years from the beach. But still…when you don't get a good night's sleep, even that can't de-cranky you.

We chose to camp here on Friday night of this past weekend. Positives of the campsite: - Very, very close easy access to the beach from basically any campsite. - Bathrooms and showers seem to be well maintained. Handsoap and paper towels provided. In the women's restroom there were four different showers, and it doesn't seem to be operated by... More

This is a great location sandwiched between the highway and the beach. All campsites within 2 minutes of the beach. Nice long, flat beach, perfect for kite flying, Frisbee, etc. Classic Oregon coastal family camping. Bathrooms well maintained with a great staff of volunteers. Within a short drive of either Yachats or Waldport. Only negative is the highway noise, as... More

you can launche a non motorized boat or use the dock to put your motorized boat in. You can crab off the doc, watch out for seals. There are picnic tables and you can have fires on the beach. We flew our kites at low tide, you run out of beach at high tide.
