Beautiful architecture, a cozy retreat in a windswept landscape, and great for ski-in ski-out. Stayed here for our anniversary, and had a wonderful meal in the restaurant, and fun drinks in the bar. The rooms definitely show their age, even after renovation. Especially annoying was the squeaky floor from the room above, that kept us up whenever someone was walking... More

Had a great time at Timberline with fiancée and 3 kids and will definitely go back again. The entire staff that works at Timberline is great and always helped us like we were the only ones with questions. Only thing that would have made the trip perfect was if the pool was working, it was out of order due to... More

Well! This is the place to stay when in Mount Hood area. Good choice of food. Very cosy interiors. Well Laid out Lobby, gift store, food court, hiring of skiing equipment. A little costly but possibly worth it. Has a Hot and warm pool,

I used to visit this lodge as a child and thought of it as a magical place. That was a long time ago, but as we were unexpectedly in this area I wanted my husband to see it. The Lodge did not disappoint. It was still as beautiful as I remembered. The craftsmanship that went into every aspect of this... More

I have visited the Timberline Lodge twice but haven't had a chance to stay there. The building itself it really beautiful, full of history and the connection to The Shining makes it even more interesting. It also offers amazing views.

This is a 1930's WPA constructed lodge; the rooms are small but quaint; and almost always booked winter or summer - I was making a reservation for January 2018 and my chosen room type was already booked in February 2017! There is a warm pool, large hot tub and sauna. The workout room is small (an elliptical machine, a recumbent... More

We were only in town for a day; but this was well worth the detour, even on snowy roads. The views were magnificent!

We spent one night in the town of Hood River, and another night at Timberline Lodge, on Mt. Hood. The second night on Mt. Hood was a mistake, which I'll explain in a moment. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to overnight in the area, whether for one night or two nights, or more, not to spend a... More

Rich history everywhere, cozy fires to snuggle up with your loved ones. First class staff and accommodations, you can tell this place is ran very well. My fiance and I spent her birthday here Thursday November 1st we stayed in a fireplace room facing the mountain. The fire place room was so nice because they brought us wood to keep... More
