Lots of choices for cheese and the opportunity to sample before you make your purchase. There were many other samples of jams, jellies, salad dressings, and other things. BUT I especially loved the BBQ sauces. We bought jam, jelly, BBQ sauce and cheese. Only down...More

Children can enjoy the barnyard animals. Adults can enjoy wine tasting and everyone can enjoy all the samples available plus fresh tasty sandwiches for lunch. A great place to pick up food gifts original to the area.

Well not really a petting zoo, but get to see the animals that make the milk for the cheese. I never noticed the pupil of a goat before. Just tasty rest spot to check out artisan cheeses.

Lots of samples, completely unlike the Tillamook creamery. Animals outside to pet and feed, live musical entertainment inside, samples of jams, jellies, dips, sauces, salad dressings, blue cheese, ice cream. We heard about Blue Heron, but wasn't sure if it would be super touristy and cheesy (no pun intended!). We were pleasantly surprised. It has a "General Store" atmosphere and boutique-trend to it. Enjoyed our time here and bought several gifts for family and friends...More

I'll admit, I preferred Tillamook Cheese factory, but I'm not a huge fan of brie. Also, there was only two types of brie to sample and no explanation of how it's made. They do have wine tasting which is nice and a large gift shop...More

We were hooked by the promise of cheese- but stayed for the wine. The selection is great, and prices reasonable. The place is mainly a shop full of local, artisanal snacks that is a cut above what you would normally find in your local grocery....More
