Fantastic place to hike

Trail of 10 falls is awesome and well worth the visit! The loop is pretty easy and pretty straight forward!

We stayed in cabin #5 in March of 2017. The cabins are really cute, but really small. Be prepared to bring everything you normally would take if you were camping. The only things the cabins have are beds (two bunks and a full), a futon (which folds out), one electrical outlet, a small table and four indoor chairs. There is... More

This park has stunning views of many falls, many of which you can wade to or near. If it is raining, be prepared to wear appropriate shoes as it can get quite muddy and slippery. It is a mega-hike for some people, so be aware of that. It is lovely for wedding photos.

There are many possible hikes with viewing areas for those that are not big on hiking. Parking was plentiful at the main lot. The waterfalls were spectacular with a couple very close to parking for those who don't like to or cannot walk long distances.

This is one of the most beautiful places I have seen. Lush green forest, rivers and a huge number of waterfalls of all shapes and sizes. Anyone (including kids) can easily take the canyon trail loop and see 10 fantastic falls. It is a 10 mile hike all around. If you are a bit more adventurous- rent a mountain bike... More

We were travelling around the USA in a rented RV and visiting all the national parks especially to see this beautiful country. Had heard of all the waterfalls at this park and decided to have a look. We camped at the campground and it was almost full as we got there late in afternoon but we still got a campsite... More

Decades ago Silver Falls State Park had 2 beautiful falls to visit. Now there are at least - count 'em - ten! Put on your hiking shoes and enjoy one after another! The trails are nicely maintained. There is a large recreation area with plenty of parking, and the facilities near that area are handicap accessible. So whether it's a... More

I've been to Silver Falls many times, it is an Oregon State Park (which means you buy a day pass) with an extensive picnicking area with a playground next to a gently flowing portion of Silver Creek, suitable for small children to play in the water. There are pavilions for larger parties as well as one on the opposite side... More

This is a beautiful clean state park that everyone who either lives here or visits should see. There are multiple facilities. Many walking and hiking trails all over the park but the falls are not to be missed. We went during the heat wave knowing that it would be at least 15 degrees cooler with all the shade and cooling... We visited Silver Falls State Park for the family activities on Saturday at the Café and Lodge area of the Park. It was very well organized, crowded with happy participants. Santa was there and was wonderful to visit. The blue grass music was great and Oh Holy Night sung by the blue grass diva was perfect. The all of us... More
