The full trail is about 7 miles. We didn't go the entire 7 miles (maybe about 2 miles). We found an area that was high enough and had an opening to view the ocean - it was very pretty! The trail is well marked, but...More

This trail head from Indian Beach or from Ecola State Park is an absolutely stunning hike with amazing views. You will see the Oregon Coast at its best.

Great family hike along the Tillamook Trail connecting Indian Beach and Ecola State Park. This was an easy hike for our family of 4 and dog. Our youngest is 8 and had no issues. Highly recommended for a family outing that ends or begins at...More

I was running this trail and approached it from the north from Seaside. The trail was in a lot rougher shape than I anticipated. Gnarly roots and many places filled with mud with no drainage. It's a good grade and heavily treed for a good...More

We hiked the Clatsop Loop from Indian Beach, south of Seaside. The hike took us just under two hours, taking our time to take in all of the views. We recommend going up on the Eastern trail that follows the gravel path, and going down...More

Closed due to downed trees 3/8/17. We have hiked this from the Seaside side until a slide closed it last time. Steep at points and muddy as you would expect but easy to follow. We will try again in the summer.

We had a great hike on a beautiful March day, the weather had cleared which helped dry the trail out a bit. It had been a rainy week so it was a bit sloppy but still doable and enjoyable. The views more very nice and...More

I didn't see any public transportation between Seaside and Cannon Beach. That's not to say that it doesn't exist. However, the state park road from the park entrance to Indian Beach trail head would be a long walk, even if... More

It takes at least 40 minutes just to hike from the Turnaround at Seaside to the Tillamook Trailhead. You'd be better off driving to the Indian Beach trailhead and hiking from there.
