Had the pleasure of experiencing Camp Dakota with a group of friends this past weekend. We had a great time and will be back! We stayed in a yurt for two nights which was plenty big enough for the 6 of us (all adults in our 20's). The yurt was clean and well maintained and included a full size ping... More

I stayed in the big yurt with group of five women and seven 7-year old girls (12 total) for Girl Scout camp/retreat. Our activities included panning for gold (polished rocks), rock wall climbing (the most fun activity), and treasure hunting (medal detector). We were absolutely freezing the first night because a big rain/wind storm moved in and the small wood... More

Today we went up to Camp Dakota for our son's 10th Birthday. He wanted to try paintball and Dakota has a great birthday package. The crew was very helpful and the course was great. Can't wait to go back and try their zip-line and challenge course. A first-rate camp!

There are camping trips, then there are epic camping trips. Camp Dakota is one for the memory books! If you go one time, you'll want to go back again! What better way to build lasting memories than shooting it out OK Corrall style with paint balls? Or playing hide and go seek in the forest far away from city lights?... More

This was our first time renting at yurt at Camp Dakota. It was awesome! The yurts have electricity, and are clean! They sleep 6 to 8 and are very spacious! And yes you have an outhouse but the staff keeps it very clean so it is not as bad as you think. I was traveling with three boys ages 10... More

Our group of 50 just had an amazing winter time camp out and adventure. Zip lining, paint balling, rope challenge and camping. Camp Dakota's facility, host and guides were all that we could of asked for. The experience was awesome and we didn't hesitate to reserve our spot for next year. What a blast.

Just got back from 3 days at Camp Dakota, and we are all still talking about how much fun we had. Found this place by accident on Facebook and decided to take the family. (4 kids, ages 23, 22, 18 and 17.) We rented a 30 ft yurt, a new experience for us, and we loved it. Kids referred to... More

The employees at the main desk were very friendly, but some of the staff who was in charge of the zip line had very poor attitudes! I don't know the names, but I'm sure the main staff is aware... They complained the whole time during the zip line experience. As far as the zip line, it was ok.... We only... More
