This was our last stop of the day before going to dinner downtown. The wines were good, the staff was super friendly and not pretentious, she even stayed late to accommodate us without any problem. The tasting room is large and comfortable.

My wife and I were visiting the Roseburg area as a possible retirement community. We happened upon the Paul O'Brien Winery and were very impressed. We have a small winery in the Los Angeles area and I was curious about their operation. We spoke to Lee Benson who we found to be very pleasant and knowledgeable. The wines we tasted were very good, ensuring we'll be back for future tastings. Thank you Paul O'Brien Winery!

If you’re traveling anywhere near Roseburg, OR and have a few extra minutes, be sure to stop at the Paul O’Brien Winery for a wine tasting experience you won’t forget! My sister and I were on a road trip from the Seattle area to Los Angeles, and wanted to experience an Oregon winery. We selected this one because of its convenient location near I-5 and excellent online reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine and the wine tasting experience! The wine tasting room is very comfortably decorated, and our hostess Lee was truly exceptional. She was warm and accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable without being pretentious. I am a wine novice with a preference for sweet white wines, but Lee patiently walked me through tasting the drier reds without making me feel the least bit uncomfortable. I still don’t care for the reds, but found the best Moscato I’ve ever tasted. Well worth the time!

We drove by and saw the winery and decided to stop by after we had lunch. I was blown away when I walked in. To get to the tasting room, you walk by the barrels. That is my favorite, seeing the wine barrels! When we walked in to the tasting room, I was once again blown away. It is wide open and off to the side, they have couches and the vibe was very relaxed and had an elegant feel to it. The woman who served us was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tasting had 6 wines for $10 so I was extremely happy with such a good deal. The wine is outstanding and I loved everything I tried, even trying wines not on the tasting menu. This was overall a great experience and I will definitely be back!

Walk inside and you will find their production room. Walk through the wooden doors and you will find a very nicely decorated wine tasting room. It is airy, contemporary, and comfortable. Linda was our server. She was very informative and knowledgeable. The name Paul O'Brien came from the two owner's middle name. Grapes are all out sourced from Oregon vines. Moxy, established before the owners laid down their stake in Oregon, are made with California sourced grapes. All of the wines I tasted here were very good--all agreed with my palette. This was a well worth it stop! It is what a winery should be like.
