Watson Falls is a great waterfall that is easily accessible. It is located just off of Hwy 138 on the way to Diamond Lake. The trail is a nice easy walk, with a slight incline to view the falls. For the slightly more active, you...More

Pretty crazy to see such a tall waterfall in the Oregon area. This one is huge. The hike in is pretty steep at times, but the trail is worn and easily traveled. The huge trees in the area are breathtaking. Even the ones that have...More

This is a short up hill hike to a sheer Basalt cliff water fall. The trail is well maintained and you can get to the bas of the falls walking over some rocks. Great hike to combine with Steamboat falls about three miles away. There...More

the falls is beautiful and the trail is really lovely as well. It is mostly uphill but all of the lush vegetation helps distract you.

Just off the highway, park the car in the lot and take the quick path up to the falls. Will do it again when company comes to visit.

We went here in April, not all the snow was gone but this waterfall had a clear path. Hike isn't bad if you go slow. The falls were full since the snow melt had started. Makes a nice photo.

The Rogue Umpqua Scenic Byway tour book says this is a moderate hike, don't believe them! It's a tough and treacherous climb. Plenty of shade and places to rest on rocks and tree stumps. If you love Oregon forests, you'll love this trail. I made...More

We have had only one light powdering of snow this year. I'd advise footwear that can handle some mud.

From Sutherlin, drive south on Highway 5 or Route 99 to Roseburg. Then take Route 138 east for about an hour. After passing the Toketee Falls, start watching for well-marked signage for Watson Falls on the right side of the... More
