Nice stop on wine tours and very nice owners. Wouldn't classify their wines as fine wines. More of just a boutique winery that sells to friends.

My wife and I have visited Becker each time we've been in Roseburg for the past few years, and look forward each time to seeing Peggy and Charlie and their very friendly and mellow dogs Muller and Willow. Peggy always has a hug for us and tips on all the new Becker vintages. It doesn't get much better than sitting... More

You are greeted by Peggy and Charlie as if you were a family member. They show great excitement in sharing their wines and pair them with appetizers and wonderful homemade fudge. This is a free tasting winery and one you won't want to miss.

I found an Umpqua Valley Wine Tour guide in the hotel tour rack and looked like a fun thing to do for the day. I like these small family owned and operated wineries because you never know what you will find. The woman behind the counter was friendly and knowledgable about the wines she was pouring. We liked all of... More

We have stopped by this small intimate winery a few times while passing through Oregon. Peggy and Charlie are the nicest people and they make some pretty awesome wine. They "dry farm" and we are amazed at the flavors that come from their grapes. Great place to visit and hang out a while. The vineyard was also on the wine trolley... More

Another small family winery in the countryside of Oregon. The tasting room is small and not decked out, but clean and approachable. I like places like this because you can usually chat with the owners while tasting wine - the same is true here. Plus they are usually very family friendly, like here, which is good for our kids. A... More

We stopped by Becker Vineyard on the recommendation of a friend. Not only did we find their wines to be delicious, but we found them to be one of the most genuinely friendly, down-home vineyards we've ever visited. Peggy was operating the tasting room when we visited, along with their two "guard" dogs (hint: they mostly sleep...). She provided a... More

The Beckers are the nicest people in the wine business. We were welcomed with "grab a plate of food and I will get you some wine!" The wine was terrific and we enjoyed Peggy's cooking (especially the fudge). Charlie was also soooo nice! We bought 6 bottles of wine and got a card proclaiming us "wine friends for life" (discounts!).... More

Becker Winery was full of pleasant surprises. It didn’t start with the long drive up a dusty road, or the informal unadorned building that housed the tasting room or the overly warm verandah but with the amazing authentic wines. I remarked that none of the wines on this day’s tastings had any “hints” of flavor. Seeking confirmation, John stated the... More
