Our son and daughter-in-law are members and I've been to their tasting room in Portland before. A visit here was like going back in time before tasting rooms became a big business in themselves. Here you are in a warehouse in the country. Cases of wine, stacks of barrels, the smell of the wine -- you know this is the real deal. A $3 (yes "three") tasting fee gives you generous pours (no metered bottles) of whatever you want that they have, not just four or five varieties they have selected. We purchased some bottles.

First discovered this gem in 2009 while sampling Roseburg wines. Joy Olson and family were bottling their 2009 Chardonnay in the background, while John Olson hosted the tasting. Very impressed with the delicious wines and genuine dedication to the process and success of their family wine. Now, the Roseburg winery, vineyard, and North Portland tasting room have become sold out destinations for the finest wines and expert chef prepared meals. Beyond the delicious wines, beautiful family, and wine club events, you become an important member of the family. Red or white, you will find your personal favorite. I highly recommend a tasting experience in either Roseburg or Portland.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff make for a fun tasting. We really enjoyed talking with them and bought a couple bottles. The tasting room isn't as nice as some, but the wines were good.

It is now 7:00 pm and still saounds like a battle field out there from grape vinyards they blast there propane cannon on the average of one or two shots every 4 seconds from early in the morning to late at night average 8:00pm . So I will not support oregon wines or vinyards they do not use alternative methods . That is the main reason I cancelled my wine club membership and refuse to purchase any oregon wine.
