Needs to be cleaned up! Bathrooms are dirty and creepy. Spider webs all over. Beach not clean because of geese. Could be a beautiful park, deer wandering all over. Beautiful lake sites and views. If you don’t plan to use the bath houses or beach, you are ok. Stayed here many times because it it convenient to family & Gainesville.

Needed someplace for 2 young boys to burn energy. Parked paid the $4.00 day use fee. Walked to the river for fishing and swimming. This is a nice park.

This park is amazing. Updated modern playgrounds for the kids, acres of old growth Oak trees with plenty of shade, picnic tables and BBQ’s. Short walk down to the river with a great place for swimming of all ages, and fishing for the fish lover. The park is kept clean and nice. There is a fee of 4 dollars I believe but well worth the fee.

Our extended family of eight enjoyed a sunny spring day at this park. There's a lot to explore, see, and do. Check out the two playgrounds (one which is handicap-accessible), a replica of a fort, and the river. Important to us also: clean restrooms!

Vast fields, the river, great playgrounds, fishing. This is a real asset to the area. We walked our dog here, and while we enjoyed it, the propane cannons in the nearby vineyards scared her. At another time of year this would not be a problem.
