Located in a wonderful old Government building, that if I remember right as a kid growing up out Harvard in the 50s and 60s, was a Naval Reserve building, originally part of the Oregon Soldiers home, I think. The rooms and hallways inside this well-kept building are covered with displays of mixed media art featuring local artists. The displays are ever changing, so it is worth multiple visits in the course of a year. Further down in this review, this site required that I give the date of my first visit and limits me to just 2019 dates. I was forced to pick one although it is far from the correct answer. I have been regularly visiting here probably in excess of 25 years. It is a wonderful venue for a non profit venture so I donate $20 every time I visit and a much larger year-end donation. You will like this place, so please donate like I do to help keep it going.

I had a friend who invited me to the UVAA Arts festival and oh my! I have been to many arts festivals and for a small town to have such a fantastic event, KUDDOS to all those who planned this event. A wonderful blend of artists, food, entertainment. I will return! All the way from Alabama:)

This is the first time I visited the Arts building. It's an older building that well kept. Each room and the hallway displayed various artworks: woven material, drawings, watercolors, cards, etc. What wonderful talent and a beautiful way to display the talent. Roseburg is fortunate to have such a building and association.

This is one of the artist's I work with favorite venue. After 20+ years of helping to do this festival, I can attest that it is almost always sunny and not too hot for the three days of the festival. However, the last few years has been extremely hot. This has caused the attendance to be lower and art sales to be meager. We still enjoy the patrons, other artists and especially the folks how run the festival, their the best!
