If you like being way up high to get a wonderful view, you could not do much better than the tram. Make sure to go at a time other than rush hour so that there will be relatively few people in the capsule, giving you better views. Consider hiking up the hill and riding down the tram (you only pay... More

I liked it. A really cool looking hospital sits at the top. Ride is 4 minutes each way with great views. For $4.55 round trip, how can you say no!

Not much to do for tourists at either end (unless you love hospitals), but definitely worth a trip for the views and the beautiful design of both the stations and the cars.

Although it is rather expensive to ride, you only pay for the ride up. The ride down is free. Parking is available at the base. Unless you have reason to go to the hospital facilities at the top, the only reason you might want to take the tram is for the view and the fun of the ride. During some... More

Great way to see Portland, It´s cheap, and although is a short drive, it completely worth it! Be sure to go on a clear day, and you´ll be able to see the mountains that sorround the city.

The arial tram is a super unique way to get great views of the city and take part in an internationally recognized structure. Fun and quick ride. Not too expensive and easy to add on to any Portland visit.

It is going to the Hill and it can give to the visitor panoramic views of the place. I like the beautiful views of the town from the windows.

When in Portland you must ride the tram for the view! It will only take you to and from the different levels of the hospital, but well worth it.

This is a fairly short ride up the side of a hill near the river. The round trip cost about $5. I did not have to wait in line very long- it seemed like a tram comes about every 5 minutes. I didn't realize the tram stopped at a hospital at the top of the hill. I was thinking it... More

Went to the wrong Casey Eye Clinic and ended up taking the aerial tram up the hill. Cheaper and easier than a taxi. Seating for limited # of people. Swayed a little, other than that it was fun.
