A great visit--seeing new uses for this 99-year-old schoolhouse. There are meeting rooms, bars, a movie theater--even a brewery in the original boiler room--not to forget the restaurant. Photos and murals showing Kennedy School's beginning abound.

It's wonderful to see such a beautiful school saved from the wrecking ball and turned into such an eclectic fun space. Comfortable and quirky, we had a great visit. Wish we were staying longer.

Love LOVE lOvE this place. One of the reason we came to Portland is to explore these McMenamins, Fun and Quirky. Our service was slow and food was cold. It was corrected and the food was delicious! Yum

Tired of the same old chain hotels. Stay here. It's so cool. The hotel was actually a school which was built in the early 1900s and was slated for demolition. Such great atmosphere, and so laid back. We stayed in the old wing which was...More
