Parking can be a chore, riding the MAX is the best bet for this park as it goes right in front (or back) of the park. It's been clean the times I have been there and isn't so big that you can't see the game...you CAN see the games. Nice!

Visited Providence Park for a Portland Timbers game on a recent trip to Portland. Firstly I think Portland is like my spiritual home, its all beards, football (soccer) and beers, reminds me so much of home (Manchester, England) Always love to go football games when i visit anywhere and I was eager to see an MLS game while I was... Well maintained venue, parking is a bit difficult plan on parking a ways off, come in on the max or park across the 405 in a smart park and then walk or ride the max over to the park. Food choice is limited and spendy. Go Timbers!

Great to be in a stadium designed for soccer, not football. Great local food and drink selections and all around great experience for all types as Portland soccer fans are devout to their teams, both men and women's alike.

My daughter plays soccer in Alaska and I wanted to take her to a pro women's game. It's a nice stadium not too big close to the Max. It wasn't a sellout crowd but it was 15,000+ The Thorns won in a good game. The crowd really gets into the game. I was able to park a couple blocks away.... More

Wow, Soccer City USA. If you are in town, and you love soccer, you must visit this place. Men's and women's soccer teams play here and have amazing fans that will get you pumped up and cheering loudly. If you don't like noise, this is not the place for you. High energy and packed with passion. There is plenty of... More

we biked to the thorn's game wednesday 7-22-15 ...it was a sell-out crowd...the venue is superb, and we sat just above the army...great! ...nice water bottle stations, and vendors for drinks/food...unfortunately they don't provide enough variety...salad was advertised, and wasn't available...we walked around several times trying to find a shorter line for food..luckily a vendor was hauling bottled/canned beer on... We go often for Timbers games (the local MLS team) and we love the stadium. There is really very few bad seats. Even at the nosebleed seats, the view is fine. The best thing about the stadium is that it's built for soccer so it's very intimate, unlike some of the places where soccer stadiums share w/ football and the... More

RCTID. One of the best soccer venues in the US. Portland loves the Timbers and Thorns. Even someone who isn't a soccer fan will have fun at Providence Park. Great food and drink choices both in the park and the surrounding neighborhood. Parking can be an issue so I usually take public transit, or park downtown and walk over.

Still love this place with all the name changes and venue changes. Great place to see the Thorns or Timber games and amazing atmosphere for both.
