This is the original rose garden. The park is large and has a fountain, a gazebo, a softball diamond, picnic tables, playground equipment and a community center and pool.

This park has lots of beautiful features and can be enjoyed year round, but June is when the roses are in bloom (and the Rose Festival events take place). So many options for visitors who enjoy strolling through a park, quiet conversations and eating dinner...More

Unless you're a rose freak or gardening maniac, you can walk thru this place in 45 mins. Beautiful roses of all types; obviously dependent on time of season you go will display the best bloom & variety. Hey....its a free walk-thru!

Went to the Japanese Garden and it was well worth it. It was beautiful and peaceful. The rose garden is across the street and makes a nice visit too!

Have passed this park many times but not on a regular basis until more recently. Finally saw the roses in bloom and it made me think of a smaller version of the rose garden in Washington Park. A beautiful spot!
