Some friends and I went out Saturday night to the arcade. After 5:00 it's a $2 cover charge and adults only. There was a short line but got in quickly. If your a pinball fan then this is the place. Lots of the games I loved when I was a kid. Crowded but not so many people that you couldn't... More

While I was living in Portland just a few blocks from here, this is where my friends and I would always go when we knew we didn't want to spend a ton of money, or party super hard, but just wanted to have a fun chill kinda night. Don't expect great Portland beers, just a small selection, but for some... More

Friends told us about this place. They said it was two levels of classic fun arcade games and the second floor was all pinball tables. Mostly True, but I had a picture in my mind of a place like Dave and Busters... and this is not like D & B. This place is old, dark and dirty. The machines are... More

Stopped in here with my son on a Friday afternoon. The place is crammed with vintage video arcades and pinball machines where you use quarters to play (they have change machines which only take $10, $5, and $1 dollar bills). My son had a great time as it was a nice distraction for my son from all the sightseeing. Note,... More

My wife and i stopped in here on our way back to the hotel and we thought it was really neat. There was a $3 cover and it was jammed inside - just enough to make it a bit more fun. Got a drink from the bar, got some quarters and played some vintage games. Space Invaders, Pac-Man, AC/DC Pinball... More

Every time we visit Portland, we have to go here. This place is just so much fun! Downstairs is all vintage arcade games and upstairs is all pinball. They have a full bar and really good drinks too. Definitely a fun place to go to if you are over 21 and into video games! It's nice that they keep the... More

I'm a bit if a pinball fanatic, when I discovered this place a almost freaked out. I went inside to see an array of classic arcade machines and possibly hundreds of pinball machines, they were beautiful, old and new and well maintained. This place has pretty cheap beer and food too, the beer was pretty decent too. I found myself... More

I dropped in just after 5 PM when you can buy drinks. I looked over the bar and the menu. You can buy food and drinks. So I ordered a beer and walked around to check out the arcade games. There are two floors full of arcade games.Pinball machines and other old classics that I haven't seen in years. And... More

Amazing place! Tucked away on Couch St, Portland. I Visited here while travelling down the west coast from Seattle - LA. I will start by saying that despite being in my early 30s, I still love & play video games but I definitely miss the good old days! If you're anything like me, Ground Kontrol Arcade in Portland has got... More
