The museum is closing for good in April. The gift shop is already closed. It's a tiny museum -- only two rooms. Not worth $6.

Tiny, niche museum... We enjoyed our visit and the exhibits were unique. The exhibits we saw were more contemporary art than craft and the were interesting.

There are many talented craftspeople in Oregon and the Northwest. We expected to see works in a variety of materials on display. In fact, there appears to be no permanent collection, and the current exhibit was small and disappointing.

Wonderful special exhibitions. Mostly high quality Oregon crafts- pottery, glass, baskets, and weavings. Good quality and value in the shop as well.

This is a museum which has tried to put together an attraction with limited funding and it shows. It is located on 2 floors near the north parks in downtown Portland and it took my wife and me about 20 minutes to see what we...More
