We went to the Oregon Zoo for their Holiday Event: Zoolights. The lights are beautiful. I would highly recommend going on a weeknight as the weekends tend to get very crowded. You do get to see some animals (the elephants were active) but most exhibits are closed for the evening. It is usually rainy and cold, prepare accordingly. We brought... More

I have been going there for over 30 years. My dad used to run the maintenance department. As children we would go 3 to 4 times a year. I still go atleast once a year. Still has not lost its touch

We went to the Zoo Lights over the Thanksgiving weekend, it was rainy but the lights were beautiful, appealing to adult and children alike. Be prepared with an umbrella and maybe rubber boots (especially for the kids) and you are sure to have an memorable expedience.

Zoolights at the Oregon zoo were top. Itch! Very well decorated and organized. There were lots of people so be sure to buy and print tickets at home first and show up early if you can.

I have been to zoos all over the world and this is a great one. It should be enjoyed at a relaxed pace and there are lots of rest and refreshment stops. Membership fees are more than reasonable and a great bargain if you plan on more than one visit a year. Our basic level membership for about $160 a... More

I have never been to a place where these creatures run free and are able to come and go as they please and like us do whatever they feel obligated or free to do only we don't get shot at so on the one part I am happy that they are safe and sad they have to be locked up... More

Had a great time at Zoo lights last night with family. Even saw a few animals although most were sleeping. Granddaughter loved the lights, and seeing the Elephants in their new habitat. Great evening for the whole family.

We went here while visiting grandkids and enjoyed our visit. The zoo is very well done but the parking lot payment was confusing and we ended up getting a ticket due to inadvertently misunderstanding their system. it put a damper on our enthusiasm for the experience.

Took my grandson to the zoo this summer. We had so much fun The Zoo is beautiful and the animal exhibits wonderful. We spent most of the day just wandering. And of course, the train ride was a kid must--wish it were a bit longer.

I went to see the zoo lights during a family reunion. There were more than 20 of us and we went on the train ride through the zoo. We got to see very creative animal light displays and it was fun and the kids loved it. As you head out the zoo, the tunnel with all the lights made a... More
