Our expert local guides will take you past the modern identity of Portland back to a more dangerous era, where murders, kidnappings, and organized crime could be found behind most of the elegant storefronts of the city. Listen to stories taken straight out of the true history of the last 150 years, and watch for yourself as the spirits of the past can still be seen today.

This place has very nice paths cross crossing the place. Beautiful scenery. Water features all over. Benches all over the place as well, so you can sit and take it all in. Just stunning to visit on a sunny day.

First off, this site wouldn't allow me to give this area more than a terrible rating - tried several times. As as a visiting non-resident, I really enjoyed this little park. It was very well kept. No matter the season this garden is one of the most beautiful places in Portland. The main season for the rhododendrons is in May but there are different ones that bloom at various times of the year. The huge trees and variety of shrubs and flowers make a visit here at any time of the year an excellent choice.

Come here to enjoy nature. The Rhodies are beautiful when in bloom in spring. The pond is full of birds. So relaxing.

In any season, you'll find a reason to linger here. You can see bald eagles, great blue herons, wood ducks, and a huge variety of overly friendly geese, ducks and squirrels. There are also nutria, beavers and river otters. Each season brings new delights.
