The Portland Saturday Market has really grown in the last decade. It is cleaner than it used to be, but also more expensive. There are a lot of interesting little booths to stop in, different kinds of artwork, clothing, and knickknacks. If you are here on vacation it is a great place to grab some very Portland items, also great... More

I like to smoke some chiba then stumble through this market and leer at the weirdos. It's so much fun!

We arrived in Portland on a Saturday morning just ahead of weather that was supposed to be a typhoon. It never really added up to much, but at least half of the vendors stayed away. It was pretty cool seeing the various artisans from soap/lotion makers to skirts made from recycled sweaters.

This is a cute market with a lot of vendors and neat items being sold. If you go close to Christmas there's a lot of options here for eccentric gifts. We enjoyed our leisurely stroll through the market and picked up a few items. There's lots to see!

The vendors at this market offer high quality art pieces of all kinds and media. If you are looking for a special gift for someone, you should be able to find something here.

Arrived a few minutes early before the 10:00 start and there were still some vendors setting up there spaces. Free to enter and located right on the water front at Burnside. A good place to start your Saturday. Mostly local people selling hand made items. From bent silverware to soap there is a lot to look at. When you are... More

We spent several hours here on Saturday morning and had a great time... so many places to stop and look and all kinds of food as well. We have markets like this at home but nothing nearly this big so we all really enjoyed the offerings there. An especially great way to get out and meet some local people and... More

This was a fun time! I went with something in mind that I wanted to but and sure enough, it was there! Bought Christmas presents and all sorts of good thing! Make sure to stop by Heartstrings Studio and check out their homemade jewelry! I just love mine! It began to rain while we were there but didn't hinder anything!

Locals love the Portland Saturday Market but it is a great place for visitors, too. Masses of hand-made goods, often presented by the person who spent many hours making them.
