Whole museum is designed to make science attractive to children. But it is a proper fun for grownups too. Almost everything is made very visual and interactive, explained in simple terms and makes you want to engage in all kinds of experiments. Robotics exhibition is...More

Not only does OMSI have permanent exhibits, an imax theatre, a planetarium, a submarine you can explore, interactive exhibits, and labs, it also has a restaurant, wonderful gift shop, traveling exhibits, and much much more. All ages!

We visited OMSI when our daughter was about 8 years old and toured the USSBlueback submarine. This visit instilled the desire to actually serve on a submarine. Fast forward 22 years and she is now in the first wave of women allowed to serve on...More

OMSI is just amazing. I don’t know of anything quite like it anywhere. Kids love it, and so do parents and grandparents. Highly engaging, and they really get how kids really are. Things change there pretty frequently too, so it never gets old.

We thoroughly enjoyed the interactive exhibits, robotics exhibit, a visit to the planetarium (Starry Night Live) and the submarine tour. It was great for young children and parents. Admittedly, it was a little pricey, but it was a great experience for our kids.

Two adult “kids” had plenty of fun here. All the interactive exhibits were fun. Loved the bridge building, arc building, and electricity sphere.

The submarine tour was very interesting and the leader provided lots of great insight into the last diesel electric boat ever built before our navy went all nuclear powered. I am probably biased, as I served on a nuclear boat many years ago and have...More

This is NOT a museum of either science of industry. It is a collection of interactive things for children to play with, and an exhibition space, but with pretty limited educational value. It is NOT for adults or young people with any interest in learning...More

I had some spare time and I visited the museum but at that time it was partially closed due to renovation. It was full of kids and there were a lot of things to do for them. For a grown-up like me it was not...More

Not cheap! Cost depends on which of many options (movies, submarine, special exhibits,...) you choose.
