You must visit the Japanese Gardens while in Washington Park. The well-manicured gardens, waterfalls, and sculptures are worth the price of admission.

This was a great stop to see nature and beauty without venturing too far away from the city. Beginning of march the rose garden is not in full bloom but I was still able to see some flowers and color!

Washington Park is beautiful, and a healthy walk from downtown. It is a lush, calm park, which was even enjoyable in winter.

This was my neighborhood park for awhile and I loved all the private spaces and vistas. Mix of large trees and flowers, memorial garden,, playground, tennis courts and trails.

Lots of trees and winding roads make up this park in the city. There are several attractions within the park. Some detours now, so parking is limited.

Such a tranquil vernal spot. Wildlife are so tame that they will eat out of your hand. Waterways and walking paths throughout are well maintained, clean, and inviting. Kids as well as adults thrive in this environment.

As you drive to Washington Park you drive west out of downtown Portland through a tunnel. When you emerge on the other side you feel as though you are in the mountains... this is Washington Park. The Park is expansive, and is riddled with trails,...More

There is so much to do at the park. Ride the Max and use the bus system in the park to get around. In the summer there is a free shuttle. The Oregon Zoo, the World forestry discovery center, the Childrens museum, the Hoyt arboretum,...More

No specific bike trails, but there are plenty of bikers on the winding roads through the park. Check out the park map.
