This is a fun place to visit. There are great walking paths along the edge of the water, up on the cliff. There's lots of history about the coast guard from years before.

Don't pass up the opportunity to stop here and take in the views. There are many along the way, but don't miss this one.

If you have an extra hour in the Port Orford area, check out this park. Interesting stories regarding the coast guard heroes who worked these treacherous waters and some short hikes with great views.

We spent a couple hours exploring the museum. There are great exhibits on the life boats and the men who worked here. Take the time to hike to the outlook for great views. The trail was paved but a little steep so maybe not suitable...More
