I love a good vertical hike for exercise and we stopped on a recent road trip (couple with a baby in a carrier). Parking is in an unserviced lot but the trail is easy to follow and you will get a great workout and a decent (not excellent) view at the top. Plan this stop in advance as you may... More

This state park is beautiful and great for camping or just exploring the many trails and beaches. The campground is quaint and very well maintained. Facilities are immaculate. Fees are very reasonable. It is the quitest campground we have ever stayed at. Granted it was late fall in Oregon. The sky was covered with stars.

My brothers and I hiked Humbug Mountain and had a blast. The views were great as you ascended the mountain. It was a great hike for us as it had some steeper parts of the trail but nothing we couldn't handle even if we had to take a break. Be sure to stop along the trail and enjoy the scenery.... More

In the East, where we are from, we sure don't have mountains that touch the sea. For anyone who hasn't ever experienced this- Humbug Mountain State Park is the place to make first contact. The views are incredible up and down the coast- especially on a cool cloudless day as we happened upon the site. It is something incredible to... More

This is a nice park, a little close to the road, but nice camp sites and good access to a nice stretch of beach

We hiked the Humbug Mountain Trail thru the beautiful forest. It is a bit steep in places, but a well maintained trail. We went past the split in the trail and to the first bench for a beautiful view of the ocean to the north.

Would have loved to have given this 5 stars. Great sites and very nice washrooms. We were in a tent and this campsite is very close to the highway. It was noisy all night long with cars and trucks, unfortunately.

We really enjoyed our stay here and we camped in our trailer mid-week. There are nice spots to camp in for trailers, tents or r.v's, a hiking trail, a private beach, trees, showers and flush toilets. Oregon State Parks are so nice and you can reserve in advance. We really liked the camp hosts there too and they were so informative.... More

This state park may not be quite as striking as many of it's more renowned neighbors, but it's proximity to the highway and Port Orford make it a fairly scenic and very convenient place to sleep.

I was at Humbug recently and had a nice campsite. The beach, is lovely and so beautiful. It is a nice hike to the beach from the campsite. Take your camera as you will find much to photograph! It is one of Oregon's most awesome beaches and a very popular campground. The park staff were very helpful and friendly. The... More
