This bridge is a lovely drive-over, but an even better walk. It offers sweeping views of the Bay front, channel, and ocean any time of the day, but especially around sun set. You can park at the base on either end and make a day...More

The St John's bridge has similar design but the views from this spot are amazing. Walk across, go below, look at it from all sides, spend a few hours. You will love it, especially if you bring a camera.

Beautiful architecture on the bridge. If possible take the time to enjoy all the bridges along the Oregon Coast. Won’t be disappointed.

You can really see this bridge from the Yaquina lighthouse parking lot. It was built in 1936 and is the only way to cross the bay for Hwy 101. The bridge replaced the ferry system in place.

Enjoy a great view of the Yaquina Bay Bridge from the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. Drive over the bridge and enjoy a lovely view of the bay. You will drive over the bridge to get to the Oregon State Aquarium from Newport.

This is a fascinating structure to photograph or sketch and you'll pass it on the way to MUST-SEE Aquarium, so park, check out some angles and start capturing the shapes, as the sun glints or the sun is going down.

Here's Conde McCullough at work again, designing a bridge which will overhshadow the town it enters. A work of structural art, I hope it stands forever.

The architecture of the bridge is unique as it spans the wide, shallow mouth of Yaquina Bay. While driving across the bridge, the passengers can gaze out the window to see interesting shapes of submerged sandbars that make it challenging for boats to navigate out...More
