We didn't do the shops, so I can't help you there, but the beach is gorgeous - a nice long stretch of sand and driftwood. Easily accessible from the main bayfront with lots of parking.

This was described as a cool place to visit. We found it to be a few disappointing shops and a few restaurants. The beach looked lovely and I can imagine that in the summer it would be better. The public restrooms were very clean and...More

This is the area in Newport with lots of shops and places to eat, mostly for tourists. There are also motels, hotels and Inns located here and nearby, some of which are quite reasonable and well located.

Great place to walk and shop, close to the beach, public bathrooms and restaurants! Park and you can spend the afternoon exploring Nye beach on foot!

How fun is all that in a close proximity. Park and walk everything on both sides of street and in alleys. Lots of shops, restaurants, for everyone.

Loved Nye Beach area! Great assortment of local small shops for treasures, gifts, clothes and food. Also great for walking and right on the ocean!
