Took my Father-in-Law here for adventure weekend. We limited out and had the BEST time. I'm telling you, THIS is the place to go. Heading back in a few weeks with the entire family / kids. I can't wait. Fishing from Newport means you don't have to go across the Columbia River Bar. That's ugly water. We were fishing fifteen... More

Very accommodating, we had a wonderful time. Great for kids and the family. We stayed at a local hotel and fished for 4 to 5 hours for Ling Cod and Rockfish.

After reserving our spot for three people 2 months in advance, and a 1800 mile trip, I call the day before the fishing trip to find we were bumped to accommodate a large party alone on our boat. Very unprofessional. Luckily another charter squeezed us in. This possibly could have been a clerical error, but it burnt from ever using... More

Truly an amazing day fishing and crabbing. Captain Gerald, and first mate Travis were amazing. Both worked hard to put us on the fish and crab. Result, fish limits for everyone, 10 crab per pot. We guide or charter a lot all over the world, these guys were first class. Highly recommend Captain Reels, we will be back.

I see all the people complaining that they didn't get any fish and the staff didn't care. What do y'all expect? the captain to jump in the water and put the hook in his mouth? lol. It's a fishing charter and they do what you are getting paid for. They cant guarantee fish so be grateful that you had a... More

I took the advice of the office manager and did a combined rockfish and crabbing trip since she said the crabbing had been slow in the inlet. Not only did our group of six limit out on fish, we exceeded our crab limit to boot; and they were BIG crab! The captain and deck hand helped make the atmosphere fun... More

My son and I went on a Tuna trip, fishing is fishing, you can't expect to get fish every time but you should get service from the Captain and the first mate. My problem wasn't the fact we didn't catch fish, 3 tuna for 6 people, it is the fact I didn't get the feeling that they cared about it.... More

I should have wrote this a year ago but haven't thought about it until I started planning what to do during our trip over to get married next weekend. This was my first fishing trip out on the ocean. We were walking around the bayfront area and was going to take a look but they were closed. Someone inside saw... More
