The aquarium is a great gem, but prices have gone up a lot to accommodate for exhibit expenses. Viewing all of the exhibits takes only an hour, but take extra time at the touch pool and underwater walk though. A fun note: try to find...More

We have visited many aquariums on the west coast, and we rate the Newport Aquarium as top notch. We had a great time, and it was evident that all the kids visiting the attraction were also having a blast, even as young as preschool. It...More

Took our 2 year old for the first time and he had a blast. So much to do! I STRONGLY SUGGEST getting there before they open. We were there 15 minutes before opening, and there was already a line to get in. The customer service...More

Visited without kids in tow. Lots of exhibits are designed for maximum enjoyment of the little guys, but it was equally fun and educational for us adults. The docents at the different exhibits added a lot of value, answering questions and sharing information about the...More

Visiting from out of state and decided to visit the aquarium. 4 adults who learned a lot from very informative staff as well as enjoying every minute of the tour. Well worth the time and money and would go again if time permits.

Well kept, clean, looking as fresh and new as when it opened 25 years ago. Staff friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of the site. Geared toward children and teens, but enjoyable for everyone. Make time for the various shows and feedings.

Nice, but small, aquarium. Exhibits were well done, allowing visibility to the animals from different angles. The scheduled feedings are accompanied by a lecture that were very interesting. It does a good job of displaying many creatures in a smaller space. Not too much walking...More

Have visited the Oregon Coast Aquarium many times with our two young kids. It’s fun for them, especially since they have lots of hands-on experiences such as tide pools and walking through a shark tank. Highly recommended for families with young kids.

These people are advertising this place as educational and it is far from it. It's basically a prison for animals that are exploited too make cash. You are basically going too a slightly more sophisticated version of disneyland.
