This is a beautiful winery with breathtaking views. Being that we are from the state of Indiana we loved the wines that the Rex Hill Winery produced. We had bottles of their Pinot Noir shipped back home because we liked it so much.

The place is very nice. Great view at sunset. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We loved the wine glasses. We purchased 6. We also Purchased a bottle of wine. Be sure to add Rex Hill to your list of wineries to visit. PS bring a picnic basket; the wineries in this area do not serve nibbles nor any... More

Not really a criticism, just a bit odd, because they advertise A to Z and sell it (which is why we visited), but the whole tasting is Rex Hill. We basically wandered in, tasted some Rex Hill, then bought some A to Z based on my Aunt's recommendation without being able to try it first, which kind of defeats the... More

We are sorry you didn’t get what you expected when you visited the REX HILL Tasting Room. The A to Z wines, though made onsite in Newberg, have broad distribution and are easier to find out in the world, so we focus on our hard to find, limited production REX HILL wines onsite and don’t have an A to Z... We had a very enjoyable visit to Rex Hill, not only a tasty experience but a knowledgable one as well, Leanne our wine server can inform on all levels of experience , no wine snobbery here . The terrace overlooking the vineyard was beautiful , the wine was great, a great day, shipped some Pinot Noir to family and stocked... More

Rex Hill www the first vineyard we visited on a recent wine tasting day in the Willamette Valley. The grounds and tasting room are beautiful. Our guide through our tasting was very knowledgeable and didn't rush us. Great start to our day!

We stopped here on our way to the Portland airport and had a much needed break. The tasting room is lovely, as are the grounds. Nice restrooms too. We liked the wines. Four small tastes for $15 per person, seemed a bit steep, but the wine is really good. They did a good job explaining the wines and led us... More

This was our last stop of the day and we arrived about five minutes before closing. The staff person was so kind to let us do a tasting even though the sign said they stop 15 minutes before closing. This winery was a must for me because I am a huge San Antonio Spurs fan and Coach Poppovich is part... More

We did not realize that we needed to book a tour a day ahead of time so I sent an email. However, since we were in the area earlier than planned, we called and found Jonathan super accommodating! (And yes, we did receive an email response saying we could be accommodated). What an excellent experience! Jonathan was an excellent guide,... More

We came for wine tasting and made an advance reservation for a seated tasting with cheese. Don't bother with the cheese! We received four pieces each of two types of cheese for $30/person. The fee was not waived with our purchases since it is considered an advanced experience. We enjoyed the wine but the other wineries provided a much better... More

We had a reservation for a seating and tasting. The seat tasting is $30 each and the regular tasting is $15. The difference is that get 8 slices of cheese! Not worth it. Very, very small tasting pours. I recommend that you do the regular tasting as if you buy a bottle (over $40) you receive a free tasting. If... More
