We were with golfing friends who had played this course several times and recommended it. Because we were late arriving, they played only 9 holes and we did not get to play that day. We thought we would stay at "Feathers" and play, but we were told the course would be closing. However, our friends liked the course so much, they went back for another 18 the following week. The course looked in excellent condition and the staff were quite personable. What we liked best about it was the view and changes in elevation of the course. One of our party would just be a "ride along", and an interesting landscape was important. Would like to have seen a stronger relationship with the folks who administer the "Feathers" casino, since we felt that more folks might consider staying at the casino if they knew such a good course was nearby. We hope to play when we are in the area again.…

I usually play this course a couple times a year when I visit my brother-in-law in Roseburg. The grass on the driving range tee area is in bad shape and patchy. I know it is late summer and it has been dry, dry, dry. But, a golfer wants decent fairways and greens. These fairways ARE HARD!!! These greens ARE HARD! Many of them have a fungus. We were charged $50 (including cart, and had a very frustrating day.…

What a beautiful view. My wife and I played this course over the summer and it was great. It is well maintained, and challenging if you have a wicked slice like I do, but it is a fun course overall. The rates were $60.00 with a cart which I consider very reasonable, especially considering that was for unlimited golf, at leas the day we were there. But it was the summer and getting warm, so we were done after 18. Great staff, carts were in good shape, fast game pace. Overall I'd say it was a fantastic value.…

did a lot of research finding courses to play on our west coast trip and this one just stuck out. It was a fun place to play with lots of challenges, elevation changes, and great scenery. Greens were good and with a pretty early start, we basically had the course to ourself and played it in 3 hours.…

Hadn't played here for several years, but it's still a good tough course. What was surprising was the price, $60. This might be the going rate in some areas, but for this area it's very high. The course was in better shape with an obvious attention to reducing the amount of water. Overall still a great course but you can play the other courses in the area for 20-30% less and still have a good day. …
