After working in the Aerospace industry for the last 50 years this was a dream come true. Have always wanted to visit the Spruce Goose and get to touch a SR-71 Blackbird this was a fantastic opportunity to tick off 2 items on my bucket list. When I arrived back in Australia I had a few enthusiast's green with envy.... More

My son and I visited the museum and found it very interesting. There is one side dedicated to planes and another on space. The imax theatre also had good offerings. Downtown is also a fun area to walk around in and grab lunch or dinner. Overall, a nice relaxing day and worth the visit.

If you love planes, even if you just sort of like planes or find them interesting, definitely visit this museum! We were excited to see the Spruce Goose, and holy smokes, this plane is just impossibly big. It's truly unbelievable! It was really cool to get to go inside. There are many other planes on display with informative signs -... More

We came here 5 years ago, and always wanted to come back again. We finally did. A very interesting museum for aviation and space fanatics! The Spruce Goose is AMAZING to see, as well as some original, not replica war planes you won't see anywhere else. The Titan II and the SR 71 Blackburd are jaw droppers!! Outside are a... More

Looking for a place to take our 17 year old grandson on a rainy, cold day while visiting Portland, we drove to this museum, not realizing the size and scope of the aviation history it held. From the earliest flying machines to the NASA capsules, there was something for everyone. It took us about 2 hrs. but could have spent... More

Very well laid out air and space museums, both are interesting but the aviation museum took my breath away. First, there is the "Spruce Goose", massive in its proportions, dwarfting all the other airplanes and jets in the museum. It was spectacular! My second most favorite is the B-17 Bomber. I was a little bit disappointed that I could not... More

I stopped here on my way home from California. I spent about 5 hours there looking & taking pictures. Lots of volunteers to answer questions. It was nice visiting with them.

We loved this museum. We actually spent 2 days exploring the property. This is a must see museum great for all ages. We also really enjoyed conversing with the many volunteers many of whom are war veterans. You can feel the history in this place. Took a lot of pictures. Loved the private tours especially the Spruce Goose. Amazing!

Fantastic museum attraction, with Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose as the jaw dropping centre piece. We paid the extra and got to sit in the pilot's seat of the Spruce Goose and this is an incredible bargain. How many places in the world can you actually touch and experience a cultural icon. The staff are super friendly and are happy to... More

Everything here is over priced... from water to gift shop.. but hey.. nowhere else in the world can you walk inside the spruce goose right? Kind of a over amped plane museum of you ask me.. but I'm not expert.. both times I went it was free admission... so I can't complain.. they had a decent kids play area.. a... More
