Great history of Oregon. Nice to see bridges kept up. Good place to go for the afternoon outing. Lots of berry picking.

The bridge and surrounding area are very well maintained and beautiful. There's a gently moving creek that flows under the bridge and when we were there flowers were blooming. There is someones private property right next door so we didn't wander to far but it...More

I only just spotted this historic covered bridge out of the corner of my eye while driving between Florence, OR on the coast and Eugene, OR inland. It took me a few miles to find a place to turn around, but it was worth the...More

After hiking to Drift Creek Falls, it's a great side trip to view the bridge. It's an easy and short trip as you head back to town.

This is a very nice drive in for the hardy. It is a Forest Road, dark and forbidding for some, exciting and titilating for others. You may run into and over branches, debris, etc. Look down the sides at steep sloped on the way. Great...More

If you enjoy observing architecture and construction, even though this is primarily about the covered bridge, there is plenty to see. Several placards tell the interesting story of the bridge and the family who put it over this creek. Well worth the short side trip...More

Totally beautiful wooden bridge. With the falling leaves I could have been back in Maine. The creek running under the bridge was tinkly and beautiful sounding. Thank goodness this bridge was saved by a great couple. Worth the visit.

Highway 101 to Highway 18 (five miles)' then about 4 or 5 miles on Hwy 18. There's a sign indicating where to turn, then another mile or so. Easy peach. Enjoy.
