Beautiful place but the parking lot on the falls side is hard to find. The south lot by the tree is easier but father from the falls. The falls are not really big falls at all but a nice spot.

We were staying with some friends in La Pine and they brought us to this park. I love how natural it is, a true forest park. The view of the Deschuttes River was stunning! Excellent trails for hiking or simply strolling. The fragrance of the...More

I live a half mile from the park and use it's trails for running often. They really do need to keep up on the down trees after winter and better trail markings.

We only spent one night there on the way to John Day. It's a nicely laid out campground with a hiking and biking trail along the Deschutes River. The location is great for all kinds of activities. Besides being convenient to Bend, there's Newberry Crater...More

We stopped here on a weekday to let the kids splash. It wasn't too crowded, there were picnic tables, bathrooms, & it was just a nice place for a picnic.

This was our first time staying at a state park in Oregon. It was very nice (and hot!). We tubed down the Deschutes from the road to the left after the pet exercise area to the bridge. It was a little nerve racking, as there...More

I live about 5 miles from the park and it's my favorite place to run. There are several loop trails that are between 3 and 4.5 miles. The campground is usually full in the summer but the trails aren't over crowded. We also ride our...More

Hi, it is a beautiful campground but yes there are some of your normal bugs. We did not have a problem with mosquito's. Some ants but not out of the normal, you are camping in dirt mostly. Lots of squirrels and chipmunks... More

There wasn't any wifi that I know about. Your phone should still work though. I didn't have any trouble getting online with mine.

Depends on your carrier--Verizon has coverage, not sure of others.
