My teens kayaked, paddle boarded, rode bumper boats. We stayed in a yurt. Very clean. Close to showers and restrooms. Crowded but a good experience.

Each and every campsite is well situated. And, has a lot of open space. The restrooms are clean, the showers are hot and FREE. Wallowa Lake is a short walk away. Mt. Howard tramway is equally close. And, best of all, Vali's Alpine Restaurant is...More

Great food and wonderful service! The chef even came out to see if we were enjoying our dinner 😊 We had the Idaho rainbow trout which was delicious! Our server suggested a bottle of wine that was perfect with the fish 🐟

Lakes, parks, cities, and a valley with seasonal glaciers for viewing and visiting. My artist's friends would love to visit or send their friends.

Our visit in April provided us with beautiful snow covered mountains! And I read somewhere that these mountains are called the Little Switzerland! Breathtaking...with a beautiful lake nestled below. A long time eagles nest sits in the trees just at the water's edge.

We went to this park on a pretty hot day and it was refreshingly cool among all of the trees there. It was fun to watch people floating down from above in hang gliders and landing on a beach close to where we were parked....More

We have stayed here several times, however, this visit only two sections were open. The D section is where we were placed and upon using the showers, there was no heat in the shower area.

We are staying at the lake for three nights this coming week : Sept. 27,28,29. We hope to take one day trip to see Hells Canyon overlook. My question is that some Scenic Byway routes take you to Imnaha. I wonder what reason people go to Imnaha, unless you are river rafting on the Imnaha R. (not us). Since the drives east of Joseph are all winding and slow AND SCENIC, I'd like to pick the MOST SCENIC route for a day of sightseeing by car with places to get out and take some short walks. IDEAS?

The road out of Enterprise towards Lewiston/Clarkson is spectacular. Great views of Joseph Canyon and then a drive thru a road that you won't forget. I would not recommend pulling a trailer or taking a large RV on this... More
We are thinking of coming out camping in late June but wondering about the typical mosquito situation at the park. Thanks!

This might be a repeat... we were there last August and I don't remember there being any mosquitoes at all. It was pretty smoky from the state fires though so maybe that had an effect?
Can we rent a space today?
