This is a great place to enjoy the lovely Wallowa Lake area. With beach access and a boat launch, you can also camp here or just spend time in the day use area (located in a slightly different location).

We last visited (camped) here decades ago & enjoyed a long-over due picnic while staying in nearby lodging. The park really has it all--boating, camping, picnicking, hiking, fishing, Wallowa River running through it, Wallowa Mountains surrounding it Now, if OPRD would add yurts and cabins....

The park is open year round, the temperatures will start to get below freezing at night. Do-able but cold.
