This is an amazing place for hiking and winter sports. Given that the place has Snow even in June, it provides an amazing area for adventure sports.

This is a stunning mountain to view on a pretty day. We were blessed to see it in all it’s glory. Snow capped and bright blue skies. Take time to pull over and take a picture! Great day and great mountain.

Drove north of Hood River and explored this area. Beautiful forests and mountains. A few years ago we went up to the lodge on Mount Hood. Very interesting rustic architecture and worth a see.

Mt Hood is unbelievable and the beauty that surrounds it is breathtaking. The mountain is easily accessible and the near by towns and eateries are abundant.

I agree about calling ahead. I noticed that the roads are nicely paved. Just be careful, there are many hairpin curves.
