Michael is more into cars and airplanes then I am but I admit I enjoyed this museum more then I thought I would. So many one of a kind planes. Many videos you can view when spending your time here. Many volunteers to answer any questions that you have. We spent about 3 hours here which including seeing the videos.... More

Thank you for the review. There is more than just airplanes and automobiles to enjoy at WAAAM. We have over 3.5 acres of indoor display space packed with all kinds of transportation history. No matter what you are interested in most folks can find something to enjoy within the collection. More

This museum is a must if you like cars and planes. Just seeing where we came from in engines that are basic to what we have today . I spent a couple of hours just making sure i did not miss anything. Good fascinating place to visit.

Thanks for the review. The average visit to WAAAM, even for those who are not as interested in airplanes and automobiles, runs about two hours long. With our latest expansion opening in November 2016 we have added another half acre of displays so expect a longer venture to see everything. More

What an unexpected pleasure, as I was unaware of the extent of the collection before seeing it. I loved the Willys-Overland Whippet, and met the owner, who was onsite the day we visited. I enjoyed the cars more than the planes, but it was all fascinating. A nice plus was having our pictures taken as we sat in one of... More

Thank you for reviewing. For those who are unable to visit on a second Saturday and experience living history in motion, WAAAM has a photo car in part of the museum that visitors are able to get in to and take photos in. This car changes every month so you can always mark the occasion. More

There are lots of classic planes - WWI and WWII vintage. Plus, a very decent selection of old cars and military equipment. I am not a plane nor vintage car enthusiast, but it was still very interesting to browse through the collection. One extra little tidbit, all the planes are in flying condition.

Thanks for the review. One of the best things about the museum collection is also one of the things many visitors forget unless they are seeing it for themselves - we keep things in operating condition. To see the airplanes and automobiles out flying and driving visit on the Second Saturday of any month. More

very interesting place. Beautiful antique cars and planes. Docents were knowledgeable. Different videos you can watch that go along with the vehicles in the area. Even some 1968 cars which are not so antique for me.

Thank you for reviewing. A few of the vehicles in the WAAAM collection are from the 50s and 60s but the vast majority of our 300+ objects are from the Golden Age of Transportation and Aviation. This era spans roughly 1900 through the end of World War II. Having the diverse range of vehicles helps us better explain the history... More

Even though this is a bit "pricey" ($12 each for seniors), it is well worth it. We visit every year and they always have some new items. In addition to great old cars and airplanes, they also have antique toys, including model airplanes. They also have a great display of Luhr Jensen fishing lures and fishing pictures.

Thank you for the review. WAAAM has a variety of transportation history items in the collection. Things like fishing gear and vintage car toys help tell the story of America on the move. Of course there are the airplanes and automobiles in the collection too but often the side displays fascinate visitors the most. More

I love airplanes. I recently went to Evergreen Aviation's museum again and loved it. However, this was my first time to WAAAM and I was amazed and surprised at what a wonderful collection this is. Evergreen can't be beat (except for maybe Boeing) for military and jets. However, WAAAM has an extensive and unique collection of working civilian aircraft that... More

Thank you for reviewing. There are many air museums in the Pacific Northwest and each tells a different part of the aviation story. At WAAAM visitors can enjoy items from the Golden Age of Aviation and Transportation...roughly the 1900s through the 1950s. The items on display would have had an impact on or used by the average person of the... More

We went because of other reviews and still were caught off guard as to how big this place is, it is enormous. So many older airplanes and cars. Thank you for the review. Word of mouth (be it person to person or on review sites like this) is the number one way folks find out about WAAAM. Like you, many find it hard to believe the caliber and high quality of the collection the museum has built over its history. More

The Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum is the best general aviation and automobile museum That I have visited. It was a surprise to see so many planes, cars, motorcycles, etc. in one place. Do not miss this.

Thank you for reviewing. WAAAM tells the story of the Golden Age of Transportation and Aviation. The bulk of the collection centers around the period between 1900 and 1950 with all sorts of automobiles, airplanes, motorcycles, and associated stuff that the average person would have owned. More
