Brought our Canadian friends here to see the "Eagle's Nest" on a frigid January day. But still worth the trip to snoop around the "Educational Center". Did go outside and spotted a "Bushtit" nest which was incredible. Also the hummingbird nest on display will blow your mind. Staff tell us they will be adding new/more items in the center this... Oregon has,had a very dry summer therefore the lake was dry. It was a cloudy wet day but we still managed to see lots of birds. A good day out

I go there whenever I can: it's so close to the town, yet so much country. They do lots of school age education inside the center and on the trails.

From Hawks, to Eagles to Osprey, Jackson Bottom has it all. Best of all, it is free. There are so many other things to see and do at Jackson Bottom. It is a great educational experience for the entire family.

We visited the Preserve for the first time and it is so impressive. We are not bird watchers but this place makes me wan to be one, or at least start looking for some birds. Lots of trails to walk or run and a very nice visitors' center with some impressive displays including a bird's nest that must be seen!

The Wetlands Preserve is an excellent stop for those interested in local wildlife. The numerous trails provide extensive opportunity for observing both flora and fauna. Be sure to stop in and look at the displays inside. The volunteer staff is extremely helpfl.

About an hour and a half walk to see perching birds and waterfowl. The variety and quantity varies with the seasons. Starting with October there are thousands of Canadian Geese. The information Education building is nice. Nice bathrooms and information plaques, they have a gift shop and a tally of the birds seen that day. Nice arrangement of bird feeders.... More

It is a place where you can walk on the trails and feel the peaceful atmosphere. Great bird watching are. Once in a while we see deer across the river where the trail gets close. You can walk there when it rains but it can be muddy. great place to just get away from suburbia.

Good for a family outing, but in the rainy season the whole park is flooded. Some parts are handicapped accessible. Lots of scouts do projects here and it is really an outstanding place for eagle scout projects.
