Nice little museum in government camp Oregon. It's small but houses a lot of information about mount hood over the decades. The staff is knowledgeable and offers a lot of history. Good place to explore on a rainy day

It is worth a visit both to get info and directions and learn about local history through the interesting exhibits and a few curious Mt. Hood collections that are carefully maintained.

Toured this in our trip to the mountain. This was our first experience and was really positive. The volunteer was informative and friendly. She even had her grandson there that day and he was keeping the sidewalks shoveled. This was a neat museum.

Interesting history we stopped in to ask about rental homes and ended-up walking through the museum, the staff was more than friendly and well informed.

This was an interesting hodge-podge of local historical interests. It is a low-budget assemblage of fire tower and lodge models, snow ski collection from perhaps the last 100 years, some wildlife exhibits, and other things. I liked it, but I didn't have much time to...More
