Who knew?

This place blew my mind! I had no idea there were so many varieties of sake! You really need to visit and sample all across the bar! So awesome! Would be a pretty impressive date!

What a fun thing to do! I am pretty into sake, but my boyfriend is new to it. We both had a great time and learned a lot about the "brewing" process. We took a very informative and interesting tour with Peter; learning all the steps of how sake is made from the rice polishing to bottling practices. Then we... More

On a wine tour in the area it was recommended that we try here. Good recommendation! The person manning the "bar" was very knowledgeable about the sake manufacturing process and the ingredients both with traditional Japanese sake and with his products. I asked him to choose 6 sake's to try including his product and Japanese sake. I am continually impressed... More

Wonderful place to take out of town guests. Marvelous tasting room. Purchase flights and taste an assortment of sakes. Nice tour of the saketeria. You can join a club and be invited to enjoyable private events like picnics, sake cocktails and taste pairings (chocolate and food). Discount on bottles with club membership. Nice parking.

I really enjoy Sake with my Sushi.....and I always wanted to learn more about this mysterious spirit that most of us only experience at the lower end of the quality level, so much so that they need to heat the Sake and serve it warm. I had noticed that over time, the local Japanese Hibachi or Sushi place started to... More

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. A great place to go and try Sake. Sake is very deceiving in the taste. It can be what we all know as, turpentine...lol, but as sweet as Dessert wine! Sake One is a wonderful place to get a good Sake education.

I was surprised to see there was a Sake maker in Oregon and decided to make the trip. What a great experience. I enjoy sake but do not know a lot about it. We were able to enjoy a flight, learn about both brands make in Oregon and imported, and tour the facility and learn how sake is made. The... More

With nothing special to do, we thought we would try Sake One after reading about it in the AAA Magazine. We went for the 1:00 tour on a Tuesday after families had the kids back in school. We were the only one's on the tour. Our guide was very thorough and relaxed. It is sort of like a microbrew tour... More

Momokawa Silver was my 1st "top shelf" sake 15+ yrs ago & I never looked back! Their sake will convert anyone who thinks they won't or don't like sake. There's something for everyone. From their dry selections to what I consider "dessert" sake like the coconut lemongrass. The sake tastings are nicely done & they are able to explain the... More
