Good territory for bird-watching; pleasant walk on paved path. Sometimes have to dodge bicycles; some of them going too fast for a space shared with pedestrians.

Wetlands accessible from many locations. The wetlands are between a couple of busy roads so you can see the ponds as you drive by (and often see herons in the ponds) and when you walk along some of the paths of the wetlands you can...More

The ponds are between two busy roads. Ducks will follow you down the path quacking for food. Great Blue Herons abound, as do some bugs and flies and mosquitoes on occasion. Still...it is a pleasant respite and gentle walk among well populated waterways.

This is an amazing series of ponds off the river in Eugene. The park system maintains the area nice with walking paths accessible for wheel chairs too. The birds are amazing. We actually saw a golden eagle sitting in a tree less than 30 feet...More

The Delta Ponds are just off the Willamette trail. They are a great place to relax and watch the amazing bird wild life. Many photographers enjoy capturing the beauty of nature. We were even treated to a Bald Eagle and Great Blue Herons!

Great place for a walk, jog or bike along these ponds. Take a sack lunch and make a day of it, but watch weather about rain!

Lots of ducks, geese, turtles and other wildlife. Fed by the Willamette River. Walking path around 3/4 of the ponds. It will be even better when the last 1/4 trail is constructed.
