Mother's day is the traditional date to stroll through Hendricks Park, yet it is beautiful for several weeks in the blooming season, as the flowers reach their peak beauty at different times.

The best time to come up to Hendricks Park is in the spring when all the rhodys and azaleas are in bloom. The colors will knock your socks off. The pathways wind in and around with many spots to sit and just relax and take in the beauty.

We went to Hendricks Park to do a Senior Photo Shoot. It was a fabulous location to take Senior photos. It provided so many different backgrounds to use. We were very well pleased.

I frequent Hendricks park almost everyday. It is the most satisfactory place to have an introverted walk or have festive walks with friends. Oh, so many ferns, its as if everything is dappled dew drops and the trees are readily listening to your woes. Highly recommend!!

We took a short hike in Hendricks Park. its a nice place in the hills. There is also a Rhododendron Garden there that was first started in 1951.

This park is over 80 acres and has 12 miles of trails. The best time to go is late spring when at the rhododendrons are in bloom, but it is a beautiful spot anytime of the year. There are places that overlook the city and so have great views. There are quite grassy spots to relax. You will quite often... More

The flowers are so beautiful and the grass invites comfort. Pathways provide benches to ponder on, while birds and nature moves about. It smells of fresh blooms. A picnic there is timeless and evokes questions about those who have come before to enjoy this wonderful space in time.

We live on the edge of Hendricks Park, and take walks in it almost daily. There is a large network of trails in and around the park, through both flower gardens and beautiful woodlands. You can connect there to the Ridgeline Trail for longer hikes, for example, to the top of Spencer's Butte. In the center of the park is... More
