We had a flight of 4 beers. We enjoyed the selection. The outside patio was lovely. We were greeted with a friendly welcome. The service and hospitality was exceptional.

Welcome to Alesong, Bro!
Jun 2020
A beautiful walk up the hill to the brewery better than announces a customer's approach. The three Alesong bro investors meeting at the picnic table didn't have time or inclination to greet me (a middle-aged single woman traveler), but instead ignored me while one of the them without word skulked to the back to find a junior staffer to come out and provide counter service. The junior staffer was delightful, btw. FYI: I like a little less dismissive bro-ness with my beverages, guys. Later I attempted to make small talk to take the temperature of these guys - and the apathy endured. In retrospect, I shouldn't have spent any of my money at Alesong, but the brewery's unique products and location was the draw. I'd recommend visiting Alesong if you're couples - or groups. But they were too egotistical that day to welcome a single woman their aunt's age visiting. In short, me and my wallet felt ignored and unwelcome by the three bros. Good luck with your business plan, tho! Seems super important.

This place is such a joy. Really interesting tasty beers that are award winning and unique. Amazing location with lots of outdoor seating and views and the staff is really friendly. Hands down one of my favorite spots around Eugene.

A Gem of a Tasting Room With a Wonderful View
Jul 2018 • Couples
This place is an awesome late-afternoon/evening place to chill with your family. Alesong specializes in barrel-aged, farmhouse-style ales. They also blend beer, taking a page from the wine industry's playbook!

The setting is beautiful. It's got a large lawn area with the ubiquitous corn hole games and runaround room for the kids. The outdoor seating is plentiful.

The beer is awesome if you like less-traditional brews, and the Pizzas and Salads from Marche (which they make/fire on site) are AWESOME. Be aware, they run out of food at times, so earlier is better on weekends if you're intent on getting food there. You're welcome to bring a picnic, but you cannot bring your own wine. Their liquor license won't allow it. They usually do have a Pinot Gri and Noir from their neighbors at King Estate, though.

In short, I love this place! I just found out about it a week ago and have been there twice already this summer!

Great way to expand beer experience in beautiful setting
Jul 2017 • Friends
I've enjoyed beer for years, and thanks to my daughter and son-in-law, have been expanding my knowledge and taste-range by trying beers other than my favorite (NW IPA's). This was a great spot to continue this process. Alesong's tasting room is in a beautiful country setting, close to Eugene's most visited wineries. There are several picnic tables with nice awning set-up that doesn't block views of the countryside but provides good sun protection (which we appreciated on a hot afternoon). They have food trucks (check website to know which one on which days) offering tasty fare, plus a few bar snacks. They were fine with us having brought our own picnic too.

So - the beer, of course was the reason to take the lovely country drive out there and it did not disappoint! My daughter & son-in-law were eager to try, having read about Alesong's work for a while; I was a little more skeptical because I knew they did Belgian style (not a fav of mine) and other styles I tend to stay away from. There was a decent number of intriguing selections. You can order 1/2 or full pours and try several. We all enjoyed our choices which included a saison du vin (quite tasty and satisfying to this IPA-loving drinker); a milk stout (I could live on that one; barreled in bourbon barrel with choc & coffee); ones with cherry or strawberry that were amazingly fresh-tasting. What surprised me was how much I enjoyed those that I didn't expect to. Others with more advanced & discriminating beer preferences were also very happy. The craft, love and skill of the brewers is evident in the quality and variety of their product. The server (and one of the owners/brewers I believe) was friendly, patient and provided interesting info about the beers when asked.
