Excursion trains come in all shapes and sizes. This one has some excellent river scenery in an area that is minimally accessible by car. Unlike the Cumbres and Toltec or the Durango to Silverton trains in Colorado, it lacks vintage steam equipment, grand and varied...More

Very disappointing train ride. We had three of us in our group and we were not able to sit together. Train traveled very slow and some scenery on only one side of train. Honestly, the scenery is better driving around the area. Personally, this was...More

A group from our church signed up for a special train ride. There was a sheriff and a robber and girls from the saloon prancing through the train every so often. To see us off some cowboys rode their horses along side the train.
