Erath's winery, on Wordon Hill Road, has a sweeping view of Mts. Hood and Jefferson to the east, beyond the agricultural patchwork of the Willamette Valley.

Enjoyed our visit here, immensely. Great staff and very knowledgeable about their products. Also, they were helpful with local sites to visit. There is about a half of a mile of gravel to get to the winery, but it is worth it. Excellent tasting choices...More

Very nice patio to enjoy wine flights. Knowledgeable staff and a fun location. Avoid if you see tour busses :)

Visited this winery along with Penner Ash, Holloran, Bella Vida and Tori Mor. Loved them all. Erath had cheese and meat trays for purchase. Excellent wines and a pleasant outdoor patio. We also received a complimentary wine glass, which my daughter loved.

A good winery to visit; yes, this is a large winery but staff does a good job of educating visitors on wines of the region. We appreciated being served a glass of water with our wine tasting. Excellent views here.

Erath is the pinot that made my lady fall in love with pinot noir. So of course we had to stop here on our Oregon wine tour. In addition to the wines you find everwhere, they had a few that were smaller batches. Our tasting...More

We went for a cheese and wine experience and it was a small private setup with friendly staff. The location is serene and wines decent.

I don't recall seeing any young people when I was there, however Oregon is somewhat liberal about allowing underage people into places like this during daytime hours. I just can't give you a definitive answer.

Portland International Airport (PDX) is your best bet. Depending on traffic, the drive to Newburg would be around an hour.
