Our group wanted to visit Erath because we recognized the label in our MN liquor stores. While it might be one of the larger wineries, our experience was still very personal and the staff made you feel right at home. We did the Art of...More

We like the Erath pinot noir we can buy in Colorado, so wanted to be sure and stop while on a recent Oregon wine visit. We were not disappointed. Their wines were wonderful and the people pouring were very friendly, welcoming and informative.

We first experienced Erath Pinot Noir well over a dozen years ago in Chicago. It was high on our list of wineries to visit and we thoroughly enjoyed tasting other Erath wines that are not on the shelves in IL & MI. Pau, who happened...More

We throughly enjoyed our visit with Paul as he was pouring our flights. We thought all the wines were good and purchased one to drink that evening. Good winery to visit!

Erath is always so PRETTY and oddly quite homey. The staff are friendly, quick and if you are there doing a flight it's done slightly different but much more streamlined in the case you're there during a rush. They bring all the tastes out and...More

For the most part, the tasting rooms were very nice in the Willamette Valley, Oregon area. When you visit several of them, the cream rises to the top. Erath was nice, but, not outstanding. Landscapes were very pretty outside with seating to relax.

Enjoyed our visit here, immensely. Great staff and very knowledgeable about their products. Also, they were helpful with local sites to visit. There is about a half of a mile of gravel to get to the winery, but it is worth it. Excellent tasting choices...More

I don't recall seeing any young people when I was there, however Oregon is somewhat liberal about allowing underage people into places like this during daytime hours. I just can't give you a definitive answer.

Portland International Airport (PDX) is your best bet. Depending on traffic, the drive to Newburg would be around an hour.
