The real reason to go here is to go on a whale excursion. It's not really worth visiting just for the museum. It is, however, interesting to look around.

Trips of a lifetime...Make reservations..Great staff and Captains..can be close up and personal with the beautiful summer resident Gray Whales..will never miss this..

Whale watching was among one in my bucket list and I checked it on September 04 2017. We had a great time and our captain L makes it most memorable! we saw bunch of whales and the exciting speed boat ride we cannot forget.

Museum $5 and whale watching is $40. Need to call for reservation and they may have headed south. Depoe Bay area is best. Great veiws. Good luck. Great place
