the zodiac was comfortable, and even though the water was choppy, we did not feel seasick at all. Someone said it is because they don't use diesel fuel, so there isn't that awful smell. We were on a raft that had seating for six people. Our captain was very informative and obviously knew a lot about whales and was very... More

This place isn't big, fancy, or new. They do have a friendly staff, and some interesting artifacts. Most people coming in are going on a whale watch. We weren't, but they told us we could get $ off if we come back to do this (save your receipt).

Small but has lots of interesting things to look at. Also ask to see the short movie that is available. Check out the whale tours available. Great family experience.

Carrie and her team are great. This was a nice trip. The whale watch tour on the zodiacs lasted about an hour, and we saw plenty of gray whales. The museum itself is just a bonus. Highly recommend calling ahead of time and setting up a reservation if you want to go whale watching.

I took my 10 yr old grandson today to see the museum. I had previously taken two high school exchange students for the museum and the whale watching this last June. It was a hit for all ages and had a great time with both the older kids as well as with my grandson and husband.

My husband and I love the oregon coast in the winter with all its wind rain and storms. So we were driving along doing different attractions for fun and this is probably the worst one. It was very run down when we went. Looked as if some of the displays were just broken pieces and old bones randomly picked up... More
