We had been looking forward to our whale watching excursion for months now. We rode with Captain Al out to look for whales and he found us some. We had a great time with him.

This was our second trip it was foggy out but within 10 min saw a whale come within 20 ft of our boat the wife and love whale watching on the zodiac boats !!!! and will do it every chance we can get.

We had an incredible time!! Captain Al was knowledge and funny. We saw so many whales and with a little luck and knowing the whales we got to see one whale up close!

We did the whale watching trip with Carrie and it could not have been better. She is knowledgeable and has such enthusiasm for the whales.

Hi! That is right during the eclipse weekend. The coast will be inundated with visitors. The boats are most likely completely reserved on the 21st.

Depoe Bay has year round resident gray whales. However, the weather on the Oregon coast in December is very iffy. You should check and see if the whale excursions even go out in December.
