Our family is first and foremost viticulturists, believing that the journey to a great wine starts in the vineyard.A founder in the Oregon wine industry, we have focused on producing outstanding Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris fruit for some of the premier wineries in Oregon for almost forty years. In 2003, we began to craft small lots of wine from our estate fruit under the Durant label.Always vineyard designated and never blended, these wines truly reflect our family’s meticulous farming methods and the unique terroir of the Dundee Hills. Our current tasting flight is $10 (gladly refunded with a $50 purchase) and includes single vineyard designated Estate Wines. We welcome guests to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on our patio, sip a glass of wine and take in the breathtaking views. We offer picnic plate platters which includes local cheeses, charcuterie, and fresh fruit available for purchase. We also have a selection of non-alchoholic beverages available for Designated Drivers. Please note that we require a reservation for parties of eight or more.

Our group was not impressed with this tasting. The wines were subpar and the tasting experience was average (nothing to make it stand out or impress). With all the wonderful wineries to choose from I would go elsewhere.

On a rainy afternoon we were on our way to a vineyard a little higher up the road, but when we spotted the red ridge place we decided to stop, really good decision! Vincent a young guy, but very passionate about wine led us through the flight of Durant wines. Lovely wines, even better with the knowledgeable and enthusiastic explanations... More

One of my favorite spots we visited in the Willamette Valley. Great Pinot and a really great property to sit and enjoy the wine overlooking the valley. They also offer olive oils and other gifts. Wish we had more time to spend there.

This vineyard has excellent olive oil and really good wine. It is in the Dundee Hills area of the Willamette Valley, Oregon. They have both an olive oil shop and a winery. We went to both (same location) and you can join a wine/olive oil club. I joined the one where you get 4 olive oils and 4 wines (you... More

We were visiting wineries for the weekend so we did a Google search for an outdoor concert venue to have a picnic. That is how we discovered this Durant Vineyards. There was a guitar player entertaining guests sitting at tables and on the lawn. The winery offered wine and food but I guess you could take your own food (?).... More

I enjoyed a lovely time here. The setting is very nice and the wine is very good. I sat outside and ordered some cheese and a Pinot Gris while inhaling a beautiful and relaxing view. There are beautiful flowers and lavender. There's a cute gift shop that sells gardening items and some baked items. I brought a lavender cookie to... More

Truth be told, we went here because we had a card good for two free tastings. Sure glad we came. We were served by a young man named Vincent who had amazing wine knowledge for his age. He was able to tell us about the AVA, the grapes and vineyard locations for their specific winery, as well as discuss neighboring... More

We hit Red Ridge Durant Vineyards close to lunch time. We had a tasting which we enjoyed a lot. Mr. Durant actually came out and visited with us about his Oklahoma connection. Since it was a beautiful sunny day we ordered a cheese tray and a great bottle of wine and enjoyed both on the patio looking out on a... More

Durant vineyards was our favorite winery that we visited, and we thought it had the best Pinot Noir we tried. The view was also hard to beat. The snacks were also delicious. We will definitely be back.

After visiting two vineyards we realized we were desperate need of provisions and Durant was able to assist with a lovely and filling tray of meats, cheese and vegetables. We enjoyed the snacks while sitting outside in Adirondack chairs with a beautiful view and a few glasses of wine. It was a popular stop and there were a number of... More
