This is a beautiful addition to Avery Park. Having grown up about 1 1/2 miles from it, this is a welcome addition to the picnic grounds and open areas. The quiet is beautiful and the crowds are small. This is worth the visit.

This is a well kept rose garden (albeit in natural condition- not highly landscaped or anything) with a good variety of roses. There were some unique ones that really stood out, and I am glad we stopped by!

I have been to the rose garden in Portalnd. It is so huge. You can go the Avery Park and enjoy the roses, have some quiet time and not be over stimulated.

Lots of varieties, on low enough bushes that you can smell them all! Beautiful spot for a stroll or picture taking.

Worth the look at beautiful variety of roses and see enormous redwood trees! Wide open spaces are fun for tossing a ball or frisbe to your dog. Close to the river bridge and nice for stroll.

Amazing that Corvallis has such an extensive rose garden! Benches under the shade of large sequoias amid all sorts of roses (or rose bushes depending on the time of year). And, from the rose garden parking areas it is easy to visit the Applegate Trail...More
