Fun fungi flowing freely!

Went on a referral from friend. Love the grounds and the guides were very helpful and cheery. Great Mother Nature fix and a wee stretch for the legs.!

There are a variety of trails to suit all interests. The views are incredible and the trails go through a majestic forest with a variety of plants and wildlife.

Take a hike, sol walk and enjoy the beauty of a well designed Arboretum. Make it an educational one to lear how to identify the trees around you.

The Arboretum is really a nice slice of quiet, easy hiking and well-maintained trails. For a quick picnic or just a walk in the trees, regardless of the season you and your pet can find some beauty. There are facilities where you can rent a hall, for an occasion or covered area to enjoy some food/beverage. We typically find the... More

I am not good at following maps so if you aren't either the trails start behind you if you're looking at the boards (in front of the parking spaces) that has the maps. This was an enjoyable place for easy to moderate hikes. I went on a Monday afternoon and only a few cars were there. There is a port-o-potty... More

Lots of hiking trails with varying degrees of steepness. Some portions of the trails are deep in the trees, other out in the open. If you go during summer, take water and wear a broadbrimmed hat as there are several areas that are exposed to sun.

The local xc teams train here. There is something for everyone. Short hikes, long hikes, wooded trails, gravel trails, small lake, good parking

Peavy Arboretum is always a great place to hike any time of year. The trails are well maintained and there are many different routes of varying lengths to choose from. Have an idea of where you want to go though because I'd gotten "lost" up there a couple times as the trails wind in and out of each other! Very... More

Great trails for all families with dogs or without. Many trails to choose from...long up hill trails, or short ones that over look a small pond.

We absolutely treasure this place because it's beautiful, has great hikes, and has nice ponds with fish and newts. The arboretum has long-running studies of plants and trees and the public can benefit and find peace here. Lots to discover, never the same experience.
